My Heart Beats in Iloilo
Redesigning the heart of a city — commissioned by the Mayor of Iloilo City.

2023 was a year filled with blessings for TTGC — winning awards across different countries, traveling to receive honors while handling big projects. Amidst the busy schedule, the founders longed for everything they love about Iloilo, their hometown. When they learned about the Mayor's invitation to create a new logo for the city, as shared in the Philippine News Agency article by Perla Lena, it became deeply personal.

Original logo vs TTGC redesign.
Referencing the original logo, TTGC kept the heart shape that symbolizes unity, while diverse elements and colors converge into a singular heart. The redesigned logo reflects Iloilo's spirit — a blend of lively festivals and tranquil moments.

The design includes a bike surrounded by greenery, representing the city's tranquility as the "Most Bike-Friendly City." It captures the vibrant energy of the Dinagyang Festival — the biggest festival in Iloilo that draws visitors from around the world — and the smooth flow of the Iloilo Paraw Regatta Festival, with its sense of excitement and ocean breeze.

“It's an honor to have the opportunity in helping shape the visual representation of our beloved city. As our logo finds its place, may it mirror the heartbeat of Iloilo — a city that's both lively and tranquil, capturing not only the Ilonggo's hearts but also the people who witness its beauty.”
